16/10/17 – The EMiR team visit the EASA Chapter 9 Conference in Valencia
EASA continues to grow at a rate with this year’s conference reaching an all-time high in terms of attendees, 86 participants from over 20 countries. The conference is held to enable similar businesses to share technical and business knowledge, which is especially relevant to those conducting business across borders and into the European union.

News includes the appointment of a new Vice President for the EASA European & World Chapter, Mr Michael Mitten of Houghton International and the Karsten Moholt Award was won by Oliver Semmler of Menzel Elektromoteren.

Frederic Beghain also attended the EEMODS 2017 (Energy Efficiency Motor Driven Systems) meeting in Rome in September. EASA’s International’s CEO Linda Raynes and members of the EASA Technical Team also attended to present the EASA Accreditation Programme. Anticipating the attendance of many regulators from around the world, EASA were eager to educate them on the Accreditation Programme. This unique workshop accreditation developed by EASA for Energy Efficiency and Reliability repairs has already certified over 100 workshops around the world.
