This, the last newsletter of 2022, welcomes two new customers to the EMiR Family, TDC Parsons Peebles and Covelec. We look forward to supporting their plans for future growth and development over the coming years.
We have also featured a case study on the work that has been achieved within Hidrostal over the last eight years. Annette Boulter, Hidrostal’s Finance Director, discusses how their input into the development of EMiR Software has positively impacted on the working methods of Hidrostal, Avonmouth Engineering and Bedford Pumps.
We are also reporting on the AEMT conference last month. There were some great presentations and discussions on a range of topical issues, including how the use of data from connected motors can enable better service decisions from ABB, and advances in additive manufacturing and 3D scanning help with conventional repair methods from Sulzer.
Links to the conference agenda and photos are available on the back page of the newsletter. We have also provided further details on Primary Engineer and Recruiting from the Military, two initiatives you may want to support.
The Conference was followed by the AEMT Awards ceremony, where were we shortlisted for Supplier of the Year and Product of Year. There was also a rather humbling Lifetime Contribution Award presented to myself for the work I ‘ve been involved with the AEMT Council over the last twenty years!
